- New Active Folic delivers x3 greater absorption than standard folic acid
- Folic acid is recommended before conception and during pregnancy
New Active Folic delivers x3 greater absorption than standard folic acid and works in tune with your body for optimum absorption.
Supplemental intake of 400μg (400mcg) of folic acid is recommended for all women for at least one month prior to conception and continued at that level for the first 3 months of pregnancy to help reduce the risk of neural tube defects (NTD's). Folic Acid is a recommended prenatal supplement and is used in preconception and in pregnancy. New Active Folic contains the patented Quatrefolic® as a source of reduced folate, the nutritionally active form of folate required for optimum absorption.
