Bloomify Live Pinguicula cyclosecta – Rare Violet-Toned Mexican Butterwort, Rosette-Forming Carnivorous Plant, Easy to Grow

✅ 30 Day Healthy Plant Guarantee!

Pinguicula cyclosecta is a mesmerizing Mexican butterwort species celebrated for its iridescent violet-to-silver rosette that seems to shimmer when touched by sunlight. Each delicate leaf glistens with dew-like mucilage that attracts and digests tiny insects—making it both beautiful and functional.

Native to the limestone mountains of northeastern Mexico, P. cyclosecta is admired by collectors for its color-shifting foliage—ranging from cool lavender to deep royal purple under high light. Despite its exotic appearance, this carnivorous plant is surprisingly easy to grow indoors.

🌿 Unboxing & Care Guide

To ensure your Pinguicula cyclosecta arrives safely and in excellent condition, the plant and soil are shipped separately:

• The live plant is wrapped in paper towels and placed inside a protective plastic box to safeguard its delicate leaves during transit.

• The peat-based carnivorous soil mix is pre-packed inside the nursery pot.

🪴 Upon Arrival:

1. Soak the soil in the pot thoroughly until it is 100% saturated.

   • ✅ Use only distilled, rain, or reverse osmosis water

   • 🚫 Avoid standing water and mineral-rich tap water

2. Allow the pot to rest in a humid area for several hours to stabilize the substrate.

3. Gently plant your Pinguicula cyclosecta into the moist soil, ensuring the roots are fully covered and the rosette sits above the soil surface.

4. Position the plant in bright, indirect sunlight for optimal growth and coloration.

🌱 Ongoing Care:

• Light: Bright, filtered light encourages deeper purple hues. Avoid harsh midday sun.

• Water: Keep soil moist but never waterlogged. Only use distilled, rain, or RO water.

• Humidity: 40–70% is ideal. Great for terrariums or near humidity trays.

• Soil: Use only carnivorous plant soil—peat-based, with no added fertilizers.

• Feeding: Captures and digests small insects naturally; no additional feeding required.
