Capo Testa - The Granite Planet (Standard Editon)

In the north of Sardinia, in the province of Sassari, three kilometres from Santa Teresa di Gallura, Capo Testa is a natural masterpiece where imposing rock formations, white beaches, lunar landscapes and picturesque coves blend together in incredible harmony. The profile of this imposing promontory is characterised by granite rocks which, over thousands of years of erosion by the wind and sea, have been transformed into breathtaking structures with unusual shapes and sizes. Thanks to the richness of its habitats and the species that inhabit it, the Capo Testa peninsula has been designated a Site of Community Importance (SCI) and has become part of the Natura 2000 Network, an EU instrument for preserving the rich biodiversity of specific territories. In addition to nature, there is a wealth of history: from the Nuragic civilisation (the Lu Brandali archaeological site and the La Testa nuragic complex) to ancient Rome, when granite was quarried here to build monuments in the capital. This area has also been chosen as their “home” by young and old alike, driven by a desire for an alternative lifestyle, reminiscent of some of the concepts of the hippie of the 1960s and 1970s.And so far, this is all history. Facts and information that can be found on Wikipedia and in history and geography books. The Granite Planet, however, tells of another Capo Testa, the one discovered by little Actarus many years ago in a galaxy far, far away.Through images taken by the space explorer over the years, it bears witness to a fantastic world of animals, mystical creatures and legends. It tells of the place that Actarus loved from the first moment he saw it and that he never stopped searching for and pursuing. Of imagining and dreaming. On The Granite Planet, you will find the essence of Capo Testa, of what it represents for Actarus. It is a bit of a fairy tale, or a collection of fairy tales. For children or perhaps for children who never grew up, like the now “differently young” explorer. You will find, among others, the Giant Crab, the Smiling Fish, the Yawning Fish and the Perplexed Fish, as well as several species of sharks. But also Luminite, the Old Mouflon, the Periscope-Necked Pointer, the Lonely Hydrant, the Chubby Alien, the camel-elephant Jumbino, the Desperate Diver, the Rock-Traz Prison, the Boys Playing with Lighthouses, Long Nose Pout and the Piper de la Turri. But above all, there is a lot of love for the Sea, the Wind, Nature, Freedom and Life.Note on versions:This version has a Standard colour interior with white paper and a paper weight of 74-90 grams per square metre. Will also available in a version with a Premium colour interior with white paper for crisp, vivid colours and a paper weight of 90 grams per square metre.
