You will receive a starter plant of Blue Wonder catmint (Nepeta racemosa) in a 2.5-inch pot. Blue Wonder is more compact than Walker's Low catmint, only reaching heights and spreads of about 12-18 inches. This hardy herbaceous perennial thrives in dry, shallow, or rocky soils and is very tolerant of drought once established. Mostly ignored by deer and rabbits, it thrives in full sun to part shade, appreciating some afternoon shade where summer temperatures are hot. Its fragrant blue-green foliage is festooned with spikes of lavender flowers throughout summer. Cut back flowers after blooming to promote reblooming. Zones 4-8.
- COMPACT: all the beauty and resilience of larger catmint cultivars, but only 12-18" tall and wide. Perfect for smaller beds and borders
- HARDY: Thrives in dry, shallow, or rocky soils and is very drought-tolerant once established. Perfect for zones 4-8
- PEST RESISTANT: Naturally avoided by deer and rabbits, making it an excellent choice for garden borders and landscapes in areas frequented by furry neighbors
