- 【Sturdy Metal Door Locks for Kids Safety】Crafted from premium painted metal, these child door locks top of door boast rust and water resistance to stand up to daily use—unlike flimsy plastic alternatives that easily crack or bend. They maintain structural integrity for years, delivering durable protection you can trust for childproofing your home.
- 【Dual-Side Operation】This door top lock allows easy locking/unlocking from either side, eliminating lever-handle lock-outs so no more being stranded by your little one. When not in use, slide it aside for hassle-free passage, no need to fumble with unlocking. It’s only for top-air-gap doors, ensure frame-door gap exceeds 2 mm.
- 【Easy to Install】Install this top of door locks for kids safety by drilling one small included screw into your door frame, rest the lock on the top of the door, and slide it back and forth to lock and unlock. For exterior doors that open inward into your room, the screw must be drilled on the exterior part of the door frame.
- 【Widely used】Measure your door thickness first before purchasing. The top door locks for kids safety suitable for most hinged doors 0.6-2 in or 1.5-5 cm thick. Fits interior/exterior doors, French doors, and doors with levers, oversized/unique handles or knobs. Does not fit sliding track doors (pocket, bifold, sliding glass), storm doors, patio screen doors, metal door frames or double doors that swing both ways.
- 【Safety Protection】Worried about kids mischievously opening doors to unsafe areas, pets escaping when unattended, or seniors stepping out unknowingly? Unlike traditional child safety door locks, our child safety door top lock keeps the lock out of curious little hands and inaccessible to pets and seniors, effectively preventing accidents and providing all-around family security.
