Flyfisher's Guide to Utah (Flyfishers Guide) (Flyfishers Guide) (Flyfishers Guidebooks)

Utah has a great variety of fishing waters, from major streams like the Green Rriver and the Provo, to large lakes and reservoirs like Lake Powell and Strawberry Reservoir, as well as many pristine mountain streams. Jim DeMoux covers over 300 of these waters, including the Uintah Mountain streams on both the north and south slopes. Utah has a number of great game fish: Bonneville, bear, cutthroat, rainbow, brown, brook, and lake trout. There is also great fishing for grayling, kokanee salmon, black crappie, largemouth & smallmouth bass, striped bass, walleye, white bass, and muskie. Jim covers in detail all of the waters, with information on how and when to fish each water. He also gives recommendations on the best flies to use. Read more
