- What it is + primary use + fit scope: Spark plug thread repair kit for restoring damaged threads in a cylinder head. Fits gasoline engines, diesel engines, and generators when your spark plug thread size matches the selected variant
- Key specs: Each kit includes 11 pieces: 10 thread inserts plus 1 thread tap. Inserts are stainless steel and the tap is high speed steel. Choose M12x1.25 or M14x1.25 variant based on your spark plug thread size
- How to use: Clean the spark plug hole and align the tap straight. Tap the threads slowly and back out to clear chips. Install the insert and then install the spark plug per your engine specs
- What’s included: Includes 10 x thread inserts (gold) and 1 x thread tap (silver). One kit per selected size variant. No drill is included
- Limitations + pre-purchase check: Not for engines that do not use M12x1.25 or M14x1.25 spark plug threads. Before buying, confirm your spark plug thread size (M12x1.25 or M14x1.25) and confirm you have enough access depth to run a tap in the spark plug well; clean and dry tools after use. Do not use the kit without removing metal chips from the cylinder head area
