Royal Copenhagen Finch Bird Trio Figurine - Denmark. Founded in 1775 as the Royal Danish Porcelain Manufactory under Queen Juliane Marie, Royal Copenhagen is the oldest and most traditional manufacturer of finely crafted porcelain. The adorable group of three finches clustered together in Royal Copenhagen colors of blue and tan. With a glossy finish, artist A Nielsen shows nature at its best. One bird lifts its wing as the others huddle close. Lovely for the birder or Copenhagen collector.
Estate find in very good vintage condition; minor shelf wear. First quality, foil label on the underside was found to be removed (glue remnants shown in picture gallery). Marked with the blue waves, #1045 and 'Denmark'. Measures approximate 3.5"W and 2"H.
