- Pre-Cut and Ready to Use: These Strait-Flex drywall shims come pre-cut, so there’s no need for trimming. Flat and consistent, they make leveling easier when dealing with minor framing adjustments—great for any drywall finishing job.
- Fixes Common Framing Issues: Use these shims to help with uneven studs, butt joints, and tight spots behind cabinets, doors, windows, countertops, and shower stalls. A better solution for adjusting sheet-rock, board, or drywall without having to tear things out.
- Made from Durable Compressed Cardboard: Each shim is durable and built to last. It won’t split like wood or swell up—ideal for working with joint compound, drywall mud, and general drywall applications.
- Helps You Get a Smooth Finish: Add a shim to each side of a butt joint to create a slight inset in the drywall. This helps reduce ridging and makes sanding and finishing cleaner and faster—especially on inside corners, off-angle corners, or wherever you’re using corner bead.
- Jobsite-Ready Packaging: Each Strait-Flex shim measures 1-1/2” x 45” x 1/16” and comes in a compact box for quick access. Easy to grab and go—keeps your drywall, shims for leveling, and repair supplies neat and ready to use.
