The Seibu Railway 101 series is a 3-door commuter vehicle that appeared in conjunction with the Seibu Chibu Line in 1969. Group manufactured in 1979 and later are classified as the new 101 series. The 263 formation is a 4-car all-car electric car that appeared in 2008 reformation and was introduced as a replacement for the aged E31 type electric locomotive.
