They feature a 50/60Hz passive power locating frequency and three active frequencies, catering to those needing to detect active power cables and trace short distances. The 1-Watt transmitter also includes an 8kHz Fault-find frequency, enabling detection of ground-to-sheath faults on cables when paired with the VM-510 Stand Alone A-Frame fault locator. The transmitter applies locate frequencies via direct connection or induction, with optional Induction Clamps available to induce signals onto lines.
